I started my career as a journalist, spent years in intelligence analysis at NSA, and eventually found my way to AI engineering. The through-line has always been the same: making sense of complex information and communicating it clearly. That instinct drives everything I build now, from prompt systems for enterprise clients to the mobile apps and AI platforms I ship through Armyrunner Studios.

Outside of engineering, I publish poetry on Substack. My wife unlocked something creative in me I never knew was there, and writing has become a way to explore what happens when you pair AI tools with an authentic human voice. It turns out the skills that make a good prompt engineer - precision, empathy, knowing what words actually do - also make you a better writer.
